About Us.

Who are we?
The Agence de Secours et de Bienfaisance aux Enfants Défavorisés (ASEBED) is a Haitian organization dedicated to improving living conditions in Haiti. Founded in 2003, ASEBED plays a crucial role in Haitian development by implementing projects such as school meals, supporting entrepreneurship, and operating a hospital in Cap-Haïtien. ASEBED has received support from the World Bank, the World Food Program, and the National School Canteen Program (PNCS).
Our Goals.
1
Helping disadvantaged children:
3
Child sponsorship:
ASEBED focuses on children from the most marginalized communities, providing them with the support they need to overcome socio-economic barriers. Through tailored programs, the organization seeks to improve their living conditions, meeting their basic needs.
2
Stabilize school attendance and prevent dropouts:
4
To address the economic difficulties of families, ASEBED sets up a sponsorship program that allows children who cannot afford to pay their school fees to continue their studies. Through fundraising activities and partnerships, the organization mobilizes resources to offer scholarships and direct financial aid to the most disadvantaged.
Developing partnerships for the well-being of children:
ASEBED focuses on children from the most marginalized communities, providing them with the support they need to overcome socio-economic barriers. Through tailored programs, the organization seeks to improve their living conditions, meeting their basic needs.
ASEBED actively engages in building strong relationships with governmental, intergovernmental, and international institutions, as well as other organizations whose mandate is to promote the well-being of children, particularly those living in precarious situations. These collaborations aim to expand the impact of programs and ensure sustainable support for Haitian children.

Our Mission.

Through our partnerships and community involvement, we aim to create opportunities for the most vulnerable so that they can achieve their full potential.
The mission specifies how ASEBED works to achieve its vision, focusing on four main axes: education, health, nutrition and community development. Emphasis is also placed on the importance of partnerships and resource mobilization to make these actions possible.
Our Vision.
A future where every child in Haiti has access to quality education, adequate nutrition and essential health care, enabling every community to thrive through solidarity and sustainable development.
